Türkiye’s Inter Medya Inks Co-Production Pact With Dubai’s Rise Studios
The deal, announced at Saudi Arabia's Red Sea International Film Festival, will see the companies produce the prestige Turkish drama 'Caged Love.'
Türkiye’s Inter Medya has inked a co-production pact with Dubai-based Rise Studios, that will see the two companies co-produce the prestige Turkish drama Caged Love (Tutsak Sevda). The agreement was announced at the Red Souk market, part of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
According to a synopsis provided by the producers, Caged Love “tells the compelling story of a young woman who, falsely accused and forced to flee, adopts another’s identity to protect a little girl who has no one else. Drawn into the world of a powerful family, she finds herself living a life built on borrowed truths. The distant and guarded man of the house keeps her at arm’s length—until the walls between suspicion and attraction begin to crumble. But as love grows in the shadow of her greatest secret, she must choose between the life she has taken on and the love she never expected to find.”
Production on the drama series begins in January, with casting details and international rollout plans to be revealed at a later date. Inter Medya will serve as executive producer on Caged Love and will oversee global distribution.
